cAMP Promoters

IMPORTANT: By reading this page, you declare you have read and agree to the conditions in the disclaimer.

Cyclic Adenosine Monophosphate (cAMP) Promoters work by inhibiting the break down of cAMP by the enzyme phosphodiesterase-4 (PDE4).

Increased levels of cAMP have been linked to improved cognitive function in animals.

Disruption of cAMP pathways has been linked to the promotion of oncogenes, however adding cAMP should not disrupt the cycle of oncogene suppression.
